ARC CEO

The General Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient running of all services provided by ARC Disability Services Inc.

ARC Finance & Administration

ARC Finance & Administration Team, lead by the Finance & Administration Manager, is responsible for the effective and efficient financial management and administration of the organisation.

ARC Lifestyle Support Service

The ARC Lifestyle Support Service provides support to people living within their own homes within the community. This may be an individual or shared living arrangement, and the level of support provided varies based on the individual needs of the person, and the level of support which is funded.

ARC Respite House

The ARC Respite House provided short term overnight respite to both children and adults who have a significant physical or intellectual disability, acquired prior to age 18, living with their family in the Far North Region.

ARC Flexi Respite Service

The ARC Flexi Respite Service provides support to families which include a person who has a significant intellectual, physical or sensory disability acquired prior to age 18 living with their family in the cairns area. Support is provided in home or through community access enabling families to have a break from their caring role.

ARC Learning & Lifeskills Program

The ARC Learning & Life skills Program aims to support school leavers and young adults in making the transition to adult roles. We also support adults to build skills for their future. Support is provided in a variety of settings with group projects and activities being organised as well as individual programs and pursuits.

ARC Family Support Program

The Family Support Program assists families which include a person or persons who have a disability, to plan, obtain and coordinate the support and resources they require, to continue to care for their person at home.

The ARC parent Support Program

The ARC Parent Support Program aims to provide parents and carers with further parenting skills, enabling them to implement strategies that may enhance their quality of life. Support is provided via counselling, group work and intensive one to one support.

ARC Resource Centre

The ARC Resource Centre consists of the Toy Library Section and the Assistive Technology Section. This service is available to children under 18 years who have special needs, to assist and enhance their development and education. Referral is usually made by a professional who id working with the child, as toys, resources and therapy services are available to compliment a planned program of support.
