Service Details
Flexi Respite is an alternative form of relief care for families/carers. This service aims to support people who have disabilities and their family/carer by providing support in their home or through community access. The service, as the name suggests, is extremely flexible and the support provided is tailored to meet the requirements of the individual family/carer as per The Individualised Service Agreement made in collaboration with the family/carer and the individual. Changes to the support times and the nature of support can be made to accommodate the changing needs of the family.

A support worker is employed by the organization to provide support. Families are encouraged to be involved in choosing their worker, and training can be provided in relation to specific needs if required.

Personal details are recorded with families/carers so that appropriate support can be provided. This service aims to continue strategies and routines used in the family home so that continuity of care is sustained.
