An Open letter from ARC's CEO, Benjamin Keast
Happy 2019 to everyone! The year has kicked off with a bang and I am hoping everyone was able to enjoy time with family and friends over the holiday season.
ARC has continued to grow from strength to strength over the past 42 years and 2019 is already looking no different. With more than 90% of ARC’s participants transitioned, or in transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the organisation is now providing an additional 75 hours a day to what we were 6 months ago.
With significant change and increased growth comes a number of challenges. ARC has and will always be, committed to ensuring we provide a quality standard of services to those we support.
To ensure the organisation is able to continue to achieve this goal, we have had to put a cap on the number of referrals we have been able to take on.
Between now and April 2019 the organisation is going to focus on the transition of the final 10% of participants yet to move into the scheme. As well as cementing the quality standards of services we are known to provide.
Unfortunately this will mean over the next few months, ARC will be unable to take on any additional referrals whilst we catch up, consolidate, and innovate. ARC is committed to providing more than just support and will ensure we share when we are able to open up referrals in the future.
Thank you to everyone who has chosen ARC as a service provider and we are looking forward to being able to welcome more to the “ARC Family” into the future.
CEO, ARC Disability Services Inc.
