Inspiring a Lifestyle

Supported Independent Living

Contact The Supported Independent Living Team

ARC Supported Independent Living is an invaluable service that focuses on creating inspiring lifestyles of choice, control and empowerment.

Supported Independent Living provides support to people living in their own homes within the community.  The NDIS will fund the participant based on the needs of the person, and the level of support they require.

ARC is dedicated to promoting a holistic support option, which assists the person to plan their whole of life activities.  This is based on their identified dreams, aspirations and future plans. Each participant is supported and empowered to pursue opportunities such as...

  • Educational / vocational studies
  • Accessing leisure activities
  • Holidays
  • Developing and maintaining independent living skills
  • Social skills
  • Increasing community networks and connections

‘More Than Just Support’.

A strong focus on valuing and building on the individuals strengths, inherent worth and capabilities is essential.  We provide a person-centered approach, where the support provided is individualized according to the interests and needs of that person.  Planning is a collaborative process between the participant, key workers, parents, stakeholders and anyone else they may want involved.

As the NDIS comes into effect, we are maximizing the choice and independence of the participant, and are working hard to facilitate tailored and flexible responses to individuals goals and needs.

Everyone has control over their own destiny.  ‘Happiness is not something you postpone for the future, it is something you design for the present.’
