Our Leadership Team
Benjamin Keast has been the CEO of ARC since April 2016. Prior to this he has held many roles at all levels within the organisation over his 20 years in the industry and is complimented in his role with his Masters of Business Administration. Ben was a member of the Far North Queensland’s Regional Disability Advisory Committee; has been a member within the Premiers Regional Forums. Ben has been on a number of not for profit boards within advocacy services; arts; and community housing sectors. Ben is currently the Chair of the Far North Queensland’s Disability Provider Network, the Chair of the Disability Support Industry Reference Committee and a Board Member of the Human Services Skills Organisation.
Chief Services Officer
Natasha Rivett is the Chief Services Officer at ARC Disability Services. Commencing her journey within the Disability Sector over 28 years ago, Natasha worked for a number of large providers as a direct support worker and team leader, before commencing with ARC as the Coordinator of the ARC Respite House in 2002. Since this time Natasha has operated in a variety of roles as the organisation has expanded including; setting up ARC’s first Supported Living House; running the older parent carer initiative; managing the ARC Family Support program and expanding the services as the Manager of Respite Services, and now within her existing role as part of ARC’s executive, leading four Direct Services teams including ARC Supported independent living services. Natasha is entering her 20th Year at ARC.
In her “spare time” Natasha is a mum of 3 teenagers, loves to cook and is a supporter of her families various sporting ventures.
Chief Financial Officer
Seranie Eecen Chief Financial Officer of ARC Disability Services Inc. started her journey with Arc in 1989 as the Centre Coordinator for the Cairns Noahs Ark Toy Library. Over the years Seranie has been primarily involved in the financial management of a continually expanding dynamic organisation.
Programs General Manager
Sheridan is currently the Program Manager and Health Facilitator and has a passion for inclusive programs collaborating with local businesses and groups to create exciting opportunities and possibilities for people living with a disability in the Cairns Region. These opportunities have included award winning programs, inclusive theatre productions and newsworthy art exhibitions and much more. Sheridan also chairs the Cairns Disability Network which works to share information, transitions and outcomes of people living with a disability in Cairns.
In the role of Corporate and Human Resources Manager at ARC Disability Services Inc., Sarah Dart oversees many of the operational aspects including Human Resources, Corporate Services, Safety/Quality/Environment, and Information, Communication and Technology. In her 3 years at ARC, Sarah has brought transferrable skills from her experience and roles within other industries and is able to utilise this to help support ARC’s journey of continuous improvement and sustained success.
Currently ARC has 350 valued employees who contribute towards supporting participants throughout Cairns and the surrounding communities. Sarah’s passion is in striving to maintain the status of employer of choice in the region, and finding valuable ways to support those who are supporting others.
